However, that’s not necessary anymore as quick commerce platforms like Blinkit, Zepto and Bigbasket are offering home-delivery services for these iPhones in major cities like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

Apple has launched its new iPhone 16 series in more than 60 countries including India, the US, China and Australia. The buzz around the launch has everyone excited, hundreds of people stood in lines outside the company’s official stores in New Delhi and Mumbai to get their hands on the latest iPhone before anyone else.

Apple launched the new series on September 20, and the phones are available in both online and offline stores. While one can buy the gadget at official Apple stores, authorised stores, Croma and Reliance digital as well as on Amazon and Flipkart— one can also sit at home with comfort, order the new device on quick commerce applications like Blinkit, Zepto and Bigbasket, and wait for it to be delivered to their doorstep. You heard that right!

Quick commerce players are jumping on the bandwagon as they will also be offering the iPhone 16 series.

Blinkit

The most prominent quick commerce platform in India, Zomato-owned Blinkit is promising to deliver the new iPhone to your home in 10 minutes. Blinkit has previously been in talks for offering iPhone 15 and PlayStation 5 on its platform.

Replying to a post on X, Blinkit’s CEO Albinder Dhindsa confirmed that the platform will soon be selling the iPhone 16 series.

This service will initially be only available in major metropolitan cities Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Open the Blinkit application, order your preferred model, and it will be delivered to you within minutes.

Blinkit is also offering attractive cashback deals of ₹5000 to customers on the purchase of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus using SBI, ICICI or Kotak credit cards. The platform is carrying out the sales through Unicorn, an Apple Premium Reseller.

Zepto

Zepto is also promising to deliver the new iPhone models within 30 minutes. While the official launch page is live on Zepto’s application, the deliveries are yet to start. Zepto will also start deliveries in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. You will be able to order the devices easily through Zepto’s mobile application.

Bigbasket

Bigbasket has partnered up with Tata Group’s Croma and is promising to deliver the iPhone 16 series within 10 minutes. The delivery service started at 8 AM on September 20, Friday and is available in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.

iPhone 16 series with A18 chip

The iPhone 16 Pro series will come with the A18 Pro chip with a 6-core GPU chipset which is important to handle artificial intelligence features in the phone. Apple claims that the A18 Pro chip is up to 20 percent faster than the previous generation, and the 6-core CPU that can run the same workload as the previous generation is 15 percent faster.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will come with the A18 chip with a 6-core CPU, which the company claims is 30 percent faster than the A16 Bionic chip and faster than all the competition. These devices will have a 5-core GPU up to 40 percent faster and 35 percent more efficient than A16 Bionic chips.
