Taxpayers involved in international or specified domestic transactions also need to keep November 30 in mind, as it is the deadline for filing certain tax returns and related reports.

Here is a look at the key income tax deadlines in November 2026 and the forms that need to be submitted.

November 7, 2026: TDS, TCS and other tax payments

November 7 is the deadline for depositing TDS and TCS collected or deducted during October 2026. However, government offices that deposit tax without producing an income tax challan must transfer the amount to the Central Government on the same day.

Other key compliances due on November 7 include:
Form 127: Buyers must submit the prescribed declaration for purchasing goods without tax collection at source, where applicable, for October 2026.
Securities Transaction Tax (STT): Deposit of STT collected during October 2026.
Commodities Transaction Tax (CTT): Deposit of CTT collected during October 2026.

November 14, 2026: TDS certificate deadline

The due date for issuing Form 132, the certificate for tax deducted at source (TDS) during September 2026, is November 14. Deductors should ensure that the certificate is issued to the concerned taxpayers within the prescribed timeline.

November 15, 2026: TDS and TCS certificates and statements

November 15 is another important compliance date for tax deductors, collectors and reporting entities.

The following forms and statements are due:
Form 133: Certificate for tax collected at source (TCS) during the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Form 131: TDS certificate for specified non-salary payments, including payments other than salary, pension and specified senior citizens' interest income, for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
Form 137: Government offices must furnish the TDS/TCS Book Adjustment Statement for October 2026.
Form 1: Stock exchanges must submit their monthly statement of transactions in which client codes were modified after registration in the system during October 2026.

November 21, 2026: ITR filing deadline for specified audit cases

The extended deadline applies to corporate taxpayers, non-corporate taxpayers whose accounts are required to be audited, and partners of firms whose accounts are subject to audit. It also covers the spouse of such a partner where the provisions relating to the Portuguese Civil Code apply.

The extension does not apply to taxpayers covered by the transfer pricing provisions, who have a separate deadline of November 30, 2026.

Several related forms and reports, where applicable, are also due on November 21. These include Form 3CEFB for opting for safe harbour rules for specified domestic transactions and other prescribed certificates, reports and declarations whose original due date was linked to October 31, 2026.

November 30, 2026: Transfer pricing returns and other tax compliances

November 30 is an important deadline, particularly for taxpayers involved in international transactions or specified domestic transactions.

Taxpayers required to furnish an accountant's report under section 92E of the Income Tax Act, 1961, must file their income tax returns for AY 2026-27 by this date. This generally covers taxpayers involved in international or specified domestic transactions who are required to furnish a transfer pricing report.

What should taxpayers keep in mind?

Since some November deadlines apply only to specific categories of taxpayers, it is advisable to verify the applicable forms and requirements on the Income Tax Department's e-filing portal or consult a tax professional.
