The milestone comes at a time when the fund house's equity schemes are still relatively new. That makes their early performance interesting.

Small Cap Fund has delivered the strongest return so far Among the equity schemes, the Abakkus Small Cap Fund has posted the strongest return since launch. ACE MF data shows the fund's direct-growth plan has delivered about 26% since its March 2026 launch.
The Abakkus flexi cap fund, which was launched in December 2025, has delivered around 11.9% over six months in the direct-growth plan.

The small cap fund has a track record of only about five months, while the flexi cap fund has been around for less than eight months. Short-term performance can therefore change significantly as market conditions shift.

Flexi cap is the largest fund

According to ACE MF data as of August 17, the Abakkus flexi cap fund had an AUM of about ₹6,338 crore, making it the largest of the schemes shown in the data.

The small cap fund had an AUM of around ₹2,113 crore, while the liquid fund had about ₹483 crore.

The numbers show that the flexi cap fund accounts for a sizeable portion of the scheme-level assets, despite being launched only in December last year.

Small cap portfolio is more spread out

The portfolio data also offers an interesting comparison between the two equity funds.

The small cap fund held 62 stocks, while the Flexi Cap Fund held 45 stocks, according to ACE MF data.

The top five sectors accounted for around 45.02% of the small cap portfolio and 52.58% of the flexi cap portfolio.

Large & mid cap fund is too new to judge

Abakkus' fourth scheme, the large & mid cap fund, is the newest addition to the fund house's lineup. The scheme opened in August 2026.

What the numbers show

Abakkus has grown rapidly since launching its first scheme, but its investment track record is still at an early stage.

The small cap fund's nearly 26% return since launch is the standout number in the available data. The flexi cap fund, meanwhile, has attracted the largest pool of assets, with an AUM of about ₹6,338 crore in the ACE MF data.
