ICICI Prudential FMCG Fund announces ₹8.75 IDCW per unit

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has announced a distribution of ₹8.75 per unit under the Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) option of ICICI Prudential FMCG Fund. The distribution applies to both the regular IDCW and direct IDCW plans, based on a face value of ₹10 per unit.

The record date is October 15, 2026, or the immediately following business day if that date is a non-business day. Investors should note that IDCW payouts are not additional returns guaranteed by a mutual fund scheme and can reduce the scheme’s net asset value (NAV) by the amount distributed, subject to applicable adjustments.

SBI Mutual Fund launches BSE India Defence ETF NFO

SBI Mutual Fund has launched the SBI BSE India Defence ETF, an open-ended scheme designed to track the BSE India Defence Index, subject to tracking error.

The new fund offer (NFO) opens for subscription on October 13, 2026, and closes on October 19, 2026. The minimum investment is ₹5,000, with additional investments permitted in multiples of ₹1. There is no entry load or exit load, according to the scheme details.

The scheme aims to deliver returns corresponding to the total returns of securities represented by its underlying index, subject to tracking error. Its performance will be benchmarked against the BSE India Defence Total Return Index (TRI), and Viral Chhadva has been named fund manager.

Investors should review the scheme information document, portfolio concentration and risks associated with investing in a sector-focused defence ETF before making an investment decision.
