ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has suspended fresh subscriptions in 3 overseas schemes effective March 2, 2026. The funds are the US Bluechip Equity Fund, the Nasdaq 100 Index Fund, and the Strategic Metal & Energy FoF. Existing SIPs, STPs, redemptions, and SWPs will continue.

Three ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund schemes will stop accepting new subscriptions effective March 2, 2026, following an addendum issued by ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC). ICICI Prudential Trust has approved the decision and applies to select overseas-focused schemes.

Schemes affected

The suspension of fresh subscriptions applies to the following schemes:

These schemes primarily invest in overseas equities and global themes.

Modes and facilities discontinued

With effect from the specified date, the AMC will discontinue subscriptions through:

  • Lump sum investments (including switch-ins)

  • New Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) registrations

  • New Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) registrations where these schemes are target schemes

  • Special features such as Freedom SIP, SIP Top-Up, Booster SIP, Flex STP, Booster STP, Capital Appreciation STP

  • Transfer-in under Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal Plan (IDCW)

What remains unchanged

Existing systematic transactions already registered will continue to be processed, subject to compliance with the provisions of the respective scheme documents and applicable regulatory guidelines issued by SEBI and AMFI.

Further, investors can continue to redeem or switch out investments. Existing STP-Out and Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) registrations for redemption or switch-out from these schemes will remain operational without disruption.

The AMC also clarified that subscriptions may resume in the future if overseas investment limits are enhanced, fresh limits become available, or regulatory clarifications are issued by SEBI or AMFI.

All other provisions of the Scheme Information Document (SAI) remain unchanged. This notice forms an integral part of the SAI, as amended from time to time.
