YES Bank launches women’s salary account with free locker, ₹5 lakh health cover and cashback benefits

According to data from the Ministry of Labour and Employment, women’s employment has grown significantly between 2017–18 and 2023–24. Rural India recorded a 96% increase, while urban areas saw a 43% rise in female employment. Overall, more than 1.56 crore women have joined the formal workforce during this period, highlighting their expanding role in the country’s economic growth.

With the new account, the bank says it aims to expand customer-focused offerings while supporting a more inclusive financial ecosystem.
