Lounge entry will be allowed after an SBI credit card is validated at the lounge POS (Point of Sales) machine.
All SBI credit cards with an annual fee of ₹1,499 and ₹2,999 will be eligible for the new lounge access programme. These cards will be allowed at lounges managed by network partners.
Beyond the eligible limit, the credit card holder will be charged as per the lounge’s regular access rates. SBI Card has clarified that additional charges may apply for meals, food or beverages, especially alcoholic drinks, for services including nap rooms, spa and massages, and for anything not included in the complimentary allowances.
“If the customer has exceeded the quota of complimentary domestic airport lounge visits, the transaction will decline, and the customer will be informed by the lounge personnel,” as per SBI Card.
The limits will apply as per the SBI credit card holder’s complimentary quota based on the type of card and benefits offered to the customer. Once the quota is exhausted, free lounge access would not be available, and relevant lounge fees would be charged.
SBI credit card holders should check the benefits available to them under their card and review their eligibility so they can plan their travel accordingly for 2026.
