RBL Bank has launched two premium credit cards, LUMIERE and NOVA, targeting India’s growing base of high-net-worth individuals. The bank said the cards are designed to serve a young, urban and globally aware customer base that prioritises experiential luxury.
The cards are both ‘metal credit cards’, a variant that’s popular for its luxury and exclusivity. These cards are viewed as both an accessory and a status symbol, and are recognized for their durability and premium benefits.
LUMIÈRE Credit Card is an invitation-only metal card with an annual membership fee of ₹50,000. The 18-gram metal card will be offered to a select group of customers, and will offer privileges including travel benefits, ‘rare experiences to exclusive memberships’ and sustainability-led initiatives, RBL Bank said in a release on November 17.
The card is suitable for customers who want premium travel and lifestyle benefits. “The 18-gram metal card has been crafted exclusively for the discerning customer, keeping in mind their lifestyle and tastes,” the bank said.

NOVA Credit Card is a metal card that targets customers who seek higher rewards, lifestyle privileges and experiential benefits. The card’s annual membership fee is ₹12,500.
Customers can also convert their reward points into airline miles, allowing them to use those miles to purchase flight tickets.
