AMFI June 2025 Data: Gold ETF inflows jump 613%, equity mutual funds climb 24% to ₹23,587 crore

Debt-oriented schemes recorded a net outflow of ₹1,711.47 crore in June 2025.

Net inflows into equity mutual funds (MFs) jumped 24% month-on-month to ₹23,587.05 crore in June 2025 after falling for five consecutive months, data by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) showed on Wednesday. Equity MF inflows stood at ₹19,013.12 crore in May and ₹24,269.26 crore in April.

Since October 2024, inflows into equity mutual funds have risen only three times, including the June figure.

Gold ETF inflow

Gold ETFs recorded a net inflow of ₹2,080.85 crore in June, rising by a staggering 613% month-on-month as compared to the inflow of ₹291.91 crore in May.

However, other ETFs dropped 79% to ₹844.4 crore in June 2025 after recording net inflows of ₹4,086.81 crore in May and ₹19,056.66 crore in April.

AMFI June data: Key highlights

The mutual fund industry’s total assets under management (AUM) climbed 3% to ₹74.4 lakh crore in June from ₹71.93 lakh crore in May, marking another milestone.

Hybrid schemes saw a net inflow of ₹23,222.65 crore in June, while debt-oriented schemes noted a net outflow of ₹1,711.47 crore.

Category-wise, inflows into large cap MFs rose by as much as 35% this month to ₹1,694 crore, while mid cap and small cap increased by 34% and 25% to ₹3,754 crore and ₹4,024.5 crore, respectively.

Equity Linked Saving Schemes (ELSS) recorded a net outflow of ₹556.11 crore in June against outflows of ₹678.11 crore seen in May. Inflows into sectoral/thematic funds also decreased to ₹475.61 crore in June after recording a net inflow of ₹2,052.48 crore in May.
