Vivek (@Vivek_Investor), however, questioned the reaction, writing:

The NSE fixed a price band of ₹1,700-₹1,785 per share, with the upper end valuing the exchange at up to ₹4.42 lakh crore.

The IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS), meaning the proceeds from the share sale will go to existing shareholders rather than to NSE.

The public issue is India's second-largest IPO, behind Hyundai Motor India's ₹27,870-crore issue in 2024. It has also surpassed LIC's ₹21,000-crore IPO of 2022 in issue size.
