Which ICICI Bank RD offers the highest returns?\

ICICI Bank offers the highest RD interest rate of 6.60% per annum to general customers on deposits with tenures above three years and up to 10 years.

RBI MPC rate hike and December outlook

The RBI raised the repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50% in its October 2026 MPC meeting. Meanwhile, SBI Research expects another 50-basis-point monetary tightening in December, potentially through a combination of a repo rate hike and a widening of the policy corridor. However, this is a forecast and not a confirmed RBI decision. Further tightening could influence banks' deposit rates, although any revision will depend on individual banks' funding requirements and liquidity conditions.
