Silver prices on Tuesday remained steady with prices at ₹2,82,000 per kg. Compared to a price 1-week ago of ₹265.00 on 28 April 2026, silver price increased by ₹ 17 per gram(6.42%). Over the last 30 days, prices have increased from ₹267.00 per gram on 05 April 2026 to ₹282.00 per gram, reflecting a change of 5.62%.

Factors influencing silver rate today

As against the trend in gold prices, silver prices are showing weakness in the future market, with the MCX May futures down by a sharp over 1%. Around 11:22 am, silver futures for delivery in May were down by ₹3,382 or 1.41% at ₹2,36,001 per kg. In the previous, silver May futures ended at ₹2,39,383 per kg.

Silver prices are pressured amid a rising dollar index and treasury yield, which have inched higher amid escalating US-Iran tensions.

Also, the rising crude price, with Brent crude hovering near $113 per barrel stoking inflationary concerns, and weighing on the metal's price.

US silver futures, meanwhile, traded with mild gains of 0.09% at $73.63 per ounce.
