Stock market today: Indian benchmark indices erased gains on Thursday, settling lower amid the ongoing trade war. The S&P BSE SENSEX, at the close, stood 200.85 points lower at 73,828.91. The NIFTY50 index fell below 22,400 to 22,397.20, down 73.30 points.
Top gainers and losers
Out of 50 stocks on NIFTY50, only 12 settled in green. On the NSE benchmark index, the top gainers were Shriram Finance, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, HDFC Life and IndusInd Bank, while the biggest losers were Bharat Electronics, State Bank of India, Cipla, ICICI Bank and Power Grid.

Benchmark indices on March 13, after trading in green in the opening session, settled lower. The NIFTY50 index fell below 22,400, declining by 73.30 points to hit 22,397.20. SENSEX ended at 73,828.91, down 200.85 points.
