Zota Health Care shares fall nearly 5% on raising ₹350 crore via QIP; all you need to know

Zota Health Care share price: Shares of drug manufacturer Zota Health Care declined as much as 4.98% to an intra-day low of ₹1,561.70 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, December 18.

This comes after its board approved the allotment of equity shares to eligible qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) aggregating to ₹350 crore via the qualified institutional placement (QIP).

The stock was trading 3.75% lower at ₹1,582 per equity share at around 10:52 am.

The scrip has fallen over 2% in the past week but gained more than 1% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has gained over 100%.

While the share reached a year’s high of ₹1,740 apiece on November 21, 2025, it touched a 52-week low of ₹740.05 almost a year ago on December 17, 2024.

The company’s fundraising committee, at its meeting held on December 17, approved the issue and allotment of 22,80,130 equity shares to eligible QIBs at the issue price of ₹1,535 per unit, including a premium of ₹1,525 apiece, which includes a discount of ₹80.28, i.e., 4.97% of the floor price, it said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

The QIP issue had opened on December 15 and closed on December 17, it added.

The allottees who were allotted more than 5% of the equity shares offered in the QIP include Valiant Mauritius Partners Offshore Ltd (26.57% of the QIP), Valiant Mauritius Partners Ltd (16.29%) and Ashoka Whiteoak Icav - Ashoka Whiteoak India Opportunities Fund (11.65%).

It was followed by Sanshi Fund-I (7.14%), Whiteoak Capital Special Opportunities Fund (5.71%), Whiteoak Capital Pharma and Healthcare Fund (5.71%) and Turnaround Opportunities Fund (5%).

Following the allotment under the QIP, the firm’s paid-up equity share capital stood at ₹33,17,14,010, consisting of 3,31,71,401 shares, compared to ₹30,89,12,710, consisting of 3,08,91,271 shares.

Zota Health Care has a total market capitalisation of ₹4,882.37 crore, as of December 18, 2025, according to data on the NSE.
