Shares of Wipro Limited gained 1.87% to hit an intraday high of ₹496.45 apiece on NSE during the early deals on August 9 after the company announced a partnership with US-based Cyble for cybersecurity risk management solutions.

In a filing to the stock exchange, the IT company said that it has partnered with Cyble, a pioneer in AI-powered threat intelligence, to improve enterprise cybersecurity risk management through AI-driven solutions.

The agreement combines Cyble's patented artificial intelligence (AI) systems and automation capabilities with Wipro's global security and compliance expertise, allowing security teams to make better-informed decisions.

As part of the deal, Cyble's AI and machine learning platforms will work with Wipro’s existing cybersecurity risk frameworks to provide real-time threat intelligence, proactive attack surface management, and comprehensive risk assessments.

The partnership will also improve dark web monitoring and brand protection capabilities, resulting in earlier threat identification and more effective responses.

Commenting on the development, Tony Buffomante, Senior Vice President & Global Head of Cybersecurity & Risk Services at Wipro Limited, said the collaboration between the two companies extends beyond technological capabilities.

“In this age of continuous disruption, enterprises must stay several steps ahead of the bad actors by implementing robust and automated threat detection platforms. Cyble’s leadership in AI and automation perfectly complements the deep understanding of today’s risk and compliance challenges that Wipro’s expert cybersecurists bring to the table,” he added.

Earlier this month, Wipro announced that it has been selected by global automotive supplier MAHLE to transform its IT infrastructure with a hybrid cloud solution.

The company will migrate MAHLE’s two core data centres into Wipro Full Stride Cloud’s hybrid cloud solutions.

The move will enable MAHLE’s IT ecosystem to support business agility and standardise and digitise its IT ecosystem while meeting all regulatory requirements.

Shares of Wipro Ltd ended the session 0.82% higher at 491.30 apiece on NSE on Friday, August 9.
