Vodafone Idea's revenue from operations rose 5% annually in the April-June period to ₹11,008 crore from ₹10,487 crore in the year-ago period.
Intraday, the stock fell as much as 3.93% to ₹7.82 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). At 12:03 PM, it was down 2% to ₹7.97.
On Monday, it had settled 6.26% higher after reports suggested that the telecom firm’s case against the Department of Telecom over additional AGR dues in the Supreme Court is tentatively scheduled for hearing on September 19.
The counter opened the day at ₹8.23, up from the previous close of ₹8.14. Over the last 5 days, shares of Vodafone Idea have seen a momentum of 9.60%. The stock has advanced 29.60% in the last month and 14.17% in the last six months.
Shares of Vodafone Idea touched its 52 week high of ₹13.50 on September 16, 2024 and its 52 week low of ₹6.12 on August 14, 2025. The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹86,674.43 crore.
The debt-laden telecom company had moved to the Supreme Court last week seeking reassessment of additional adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. The case is likely to be heard on Friday.
The development came after CNBC TV18 last month reported that the government had made it clear that it won't support the debt-laden carrier. Minister of State for Communications Chandra S Pemmasani told the channel that the government had already extended support by converting nearly ₹53,000 crore of dues into equity in 2021 and getting a 49% stake in the company.
A report by The Economic Times had suggested that the central government is looking for an investor who will buy a 12-13% stake in Vodafone Idea, investing around $1 billion (₹8,800 crore) to help the telecom firm.

According to the report, one relief measure under consideration is an additional two-year moratorium on statutory dues. The DoT has suggested granting the company more time to clear its liabilities, coupled with reduced annual payments and a waiver of penalties and interest on AGR dues, the report noted.
Vodafone Idea last month reported that its net loss in the first quarter of the current financial year (Q1FY26) widened to ₹6,608 crore from a loss of ₹6,432 crore in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, however, its loss narrowed from ₹7,166 crore in the previous quarter.
