V-Mart Retail share price: V-Mart Retail shares jumped as much as 19.36% to ₹867.40 apiece on Friday, October 3, following an upbeat quarterly business update of the company.

In its update, the company said that the total revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹807 crore compared to ₹661 crore last year, reflecting year-on-year growth of 22%. The company said the same store sales growth (SSSG) stood at +11% for the quarter (V-Mart at +11% and Unlimited at +11%).

The company, in its update, added that these numbers are provisional and subject to review by the statutory auditors of the company.

Store Openings & Closures

V-Mart Retail said the company opened 25 new stores and closed two stores during the quarter, bringing its total store count to 533 as of September 30, 2025.

It added that the 25 new stores include five stores in Karnataka, four stores each in Uttar Pradesh & Bihar, two stores each in West Bengal & Jharkhand, and one store each in Jammu & Kashmir.
