The market investors are set to focus on these specific companies during the week for any potential major movement in price due to the increased interest.

Belrise Industries on August 14 recommended a final dividend of ₹0.55 per equity share, or 11%, for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, on the equity shares issued and allotted under the QIP. The firm had set September 15 as the record date for determining the entitlement for receiving a dividend for FY26.

The board of directors of Hinduja Global Solutions had approved a final dividend of ₹5 per equity share for FY26 along with its Q1 earnings. The company had set September 18 as the record date for the payout.

Further, Century Extrusions board had fixed September 15 as the record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive rights entitlements under its proposed rights issue. The company’s board had approved the rights issue of partly paid-up equity shares for an amount of up to ₹45 crore.

Stock market last week

The Indian stock market ended lower for the fifth consecutive week on September 11, weighed down by sharp declines in realty and IT stocks. The investors’ sentiment remained cautious amid elevated crude oil prices and ongoing geopolitical concerns.

During the week, the NIFTY50 slipped 499.60 points, or 2.1%, while the BSE SENSEX declined 1,733.67 points, or 2.3%. As many as 41 stocks in the NIFTY50 index declined over the period, while only nine ended with gains.

Brent crude prices surged nearly 9% during the week to settle at $104.47 per barrel amid rising concerns over the West Asia conflict.

During the week, broader markets also ended in red, with the NIFTY Midcap 100 and NIFTY Smallcap 100 falling 1.4% and 0.9%, respectively. Among sectors, the NIFTY Realty and NIFTY IT indices emerged as the top laggards during the week, declining 6.5% and 5.8%, respectively.

The Indian stock exchanges, including the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE, will remain closed on Monday, September 11, for Ganesh Chaturthi, marking the end of a long weekend.
