Transrail Lighting shares rally 10% on securing new orders worth over ₹574 crore; key details

Transrail Lighting share price: The stock of Transrail Lighting Ltd gained as much as 10.26% to hit an intraday high of ₹498 per equity share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, September 30, compared with Tuesday’s closing price of ₹451.65 apiece.

This comes on the back of the company securing new orders worth more than ₹574 crore mainly in the core domestic Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business, according to a regulatory filing.

The order wins include engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of transmission lines and transmission line reconductoring projects with the supply of HTLS Conductors from its factories and also supply of poles, etc.

It also includes an EPC contract for the construction of a transmission line from a very large private-sector Indian developer, Transrail Lighting added.

With this, the company’s order intake for the year grew to ₹1,609 crore, and there are additional ₹694 crore worth of orders where the company is the lowest bidder (L1).

Commenting on the development, Randeep Narang, MD & CEO, said: “The latest order wins reflect the continued confidence our marquee customers place in our engineering, manufacturing and execution capabilities in the T&D sector. Transrail Lighting stock performance

At around 3:18 PM, the shares were trading 5.50% higher at ₹476.50 per unit.

The scrip has fallen nearly 2% in the past week but gained 10% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has declined 14%.

While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹766.80 per equity share on October 8, 2025, it touched a year’s low of ₹400.65 apiece on September 16, 2026.

Transrail Lighting has a total market capitalisation of ₹6,385.22 crore as of September 30, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
