Power Mech Projects shares soar 6% on bagging order worth ₹549 crore from Moxie Power Generation

Power Mech Projects share price: Shares of Power Mech Projects gained as much as 5.7% to hit an intraday high of ₹2,535 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, September 29, as the company bagged a ₹549.37 crore (including) operation and maintenance order from Adani Group company Moxie Power Generation.

The scope of work includes "providing complete operation and maintenance services at 2x600 MW Moxie Power Generation Ltd. Tuticorin TPP", the firm said in a regulatory filing.

The order has a contract period of five years or 60 months, ranging from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031, the filing added.

Recent updates

In a separate regulatory filing dated September 28, the company said it bagged an operations and maintenance order worth ₹279.20 crore from Telangana Power Generation Corporation Ltd.

The order, which is for a period of three years from the date of issuance of the letter of intent (LoI), is for a comprehensive operation and maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I) and upkeep work package for the Ash Handling Plant of Stage-I (Unit No.1 & 2) & Stage-II (Unit No.3, 4 & 5) and complete Coal handling plant of YTPS (5X800 MW).

On September 9, Power Mech Projects won a ₹970 crore order from Vedanta Power Ltd.

It secured the order for “an end-to-end operations and maintenance contract at 2x600 MW at Vedanta Power Limited’s Sakti Thermal Plant, Chhattisgarh Coal-based Thermal Power Plant, situated at village Singhitarai, Sakti (Distr.), Chhattisgarh,” as per a filing.

Power Mech Projects Q1 results

Power Mech Projects reported a 51.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹79.78 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹52.52 crore in the same period last year.

Its revenue from operations jumped 25.5% YoY to ₹1,623.68 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹1,293.41 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Power Mech Projects stock performance

At around 2:37 PM, the scrip stood at ₹2,486 per equity share, marking a 3.70% increase.

The shares have gained more than 1% in the past week but lost 1% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, they have advanced 9%.

While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹3,007.50 per equity share on June 22, 2026, it touched a year’s low of ₹1,717.70 apiece on March 30, 2026.
