Shares of Transformers & Rectifiers India locked in the 5% upper circuit at ₹778.05 in the early morning session of Friday. The company declared strong financial results for Q2FY25. On a consolidated basis for Q2FY25, the company reported an 83.37% increase in total income from ₹258.12 crore in Q2FY24 to ₹473.31 crore. PAT has increased by 2329.10% from ₹1.89 crore in Q2FY24 to ₹45.91 crore. As of September 30, 2024 company unexecuted order book stands at ₹3,500 crore.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) manufactures power, furnace and rectifier transformers. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹11,600 crore. Over the past year, its shares have delivered a return of 361%.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd

In the early morning session of Friday shares of Diamond Power Infrastructure hit the second consecutive day 5% upper circuit at ₹1,504.90. On October 9, the company reported receiving a letter of intent worth ₹109.38 crore from Swastika Infra Private Limited for the supply of power cables. Swatika Infra is a contractor of Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited. The firm is to supply 240 square millimetres long XLPE Al 3 core cables of 11 kilovolts for a project under MGVCL's schemes. The contract is to be executed by March 2025.

Additionally, the company is set to hold a Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, to consider and approve subdivision/stock split of equity shares of the company.

Diamond Power Infrastructure is engaged in the business of manufacturing Transmission & distribution of power products & services in India. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹7,900 crore. Over the past year shares of the company have skyrocketed by 2876%.

Recently the company has reported that it got another breakthrough antibiotic. Recently, one of its unique once-a-day, β-lactam enhancer-based MDR-active antibiotic, WCK 6777 (Ertapenem/Zidebactam) has successfully completed a Phase I study conducted by the National Institutes of Health, USA.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd

Indo Tech Transformers Ltd

Indo Tech Transformers shares were locked in a 5% upper circuit at ₹2,062.60 in the early morning session of Friday. Indo Tech Transformers manufactures power and distribution transformers, various special application transformers, mobile substation transformers, and substations. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹2,200 crore. Over the past year, its shares have increased by 307%.

Stocks hitting the lower circuit on Friday (October 11, 2024)

Reliance Power Ltd

Reliance Power has been in the spotlight for several trading sessions, hitting new highs with a surge of nearly 80% in one month. However, from last week the momentum reversed and ended the upper circuit streak. Today the stock hit the 5% lower circuit at ₹44.23.

In a recent board meeting, the company approved the issuance of up to $500 million (₹4,200 crore) in Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) on a private placement basis to affiliates of Varde Investment Partners. These FCCBs will have a low interest rate of 5% per annum, are unsecured, and carry a 10-year tenure. They are convertible into approximately 82.30 crore equity shares at a conversion price of ₹51.

This marks the company's second fundraising initiative, following the approval to raise ₹1,525 crore through a preferential allotment on September 23. These funds will support business expansion, investments in subsidiaries and joint ventures, debt reduction, and general corporate purposes.

Reliance Power has been established to develop, construct and operate power projects in India and internationally. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹18,000 crore.
