Top gainers and losers on July 7: Hindustan Unilever, Nestle, Tata Consumer Products shares rise over 1.15%; check full list

The Indian equity benchmarks ended Monday's listless session on a flat note as gains in Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ITC and Trent were offset with losses in ICICI Bank, Infosys, Bharat Electronics, Tech Mahindra and Ultratech Cement. The SENSEX ended 10 points higher at 83,442 and NIFTY50 index ended unchanged at 25,461.

NIFTY50 top gainers and losers

Hindustan Unilever was top gainer in the NIFTY50 basket of shares, the stock rose 2.97% to close at ₹2,409 mirroring gains in other FMCG shares after its peers Marico, Dabur and Godrej Consumer Products gave encouraging Q1 business updates.

Tata Consumer Products (1.5%), Nestle India (1.15%), Eicher Motors (1.05%) and Jio Financial Services (1.03%) were also among the gainers.

On the other hand, Bharat Electronics (-2.47%), Tech Mahindra (-1.98%), ONGC (-1.57%), Ultratech Cement (-1.20%) and HCL Technologies (-1.10%) were among losers in the NIFTY50 index.

NIFTY Midcap 100 gainers and losers

NIFTY Midcap 100 index ended 0.27% or 62 points lower at 59,515. As many as 65 shares in the index ended lower while 35 closed higher.

Indus Towers was top loser in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index; the stock fell 4% to close at ₹408. Jubilant FoodWorks (-3.80%), Bharti Hexacom (-3.65%), Waaree Energies (-2.29%) and Sona Comstar (-2.09%) were also among the losers.

On the flipside, Cummins India was top gainer in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index, the stock rose 3.01% to close at ₹3,442.50. Petronet LNG (2.67%), PB Fintech (1.89%), Glenmark (1.56%) and Nykaa (1.45%) were also among the gainers.

NIFTY Smallcap 100 gainers and losers

NIFTY Smallcap 100 index fell 0.44% or 83 points to close at 18,950. As many as 72 shares in the index ended lower while 28 closed higher.

Sagility was top loser in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index. The stock rose 3.25% to close at ₹41. Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (-2.88%), Natco Pharma (-2.68%), Kfin Technologies (-2.51%) and Inventurus Knowledge Solutions (-2.39%) were also among the losers.

On the contrary, BLS (3.93%), Nuvama Wealth (3.25%), Indraprastha Gas (3.19%), IIFL Finance (2.38%) and Brainbees Solutions (2.06%) were among the gainers in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index.
