Top gainers and losers on July 22: Shriram Finance, Eicher Motors, Jio Financial Services fall over 1.97%; check full list

The Indian equity benchmarks ended marginally lower on Tuesday, July 22, dragged down by losses in index heavyweights liked Reliance Industries, Infosys, Larsen & Toubro, ITC, State Bank of India, Tata Motors and Adani Ports. The SENSEX ended 14 points or 0.02% lower at 82,187 and NIFTY50 index declined 30 points or 0.12% to close at 25,061.

NIFTY50 top gainers and losers

Shriram Finance was top gainer in the NIFTY50 index, the stock fell 2.25% to close at ₹640.90. Eicher Motors (-2.11%), Jio Financial Services (-1.97%), Adani Ports (-1.77%) and Bajaj Auto (-1.76%) were also among the losers.

On the other hand, Eternal was top gainer in the NIFTY50 index, the stock rose 10.32% to close at ₹299.75 after it reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26).

Eternal on Monday, July 21, reported a net profit of ₹25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26). The figures were ₹39 crore in the previous quarter and ₹253 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue from operations came in at ₹7,167 crore, up 70% against ₹4,206 crore logged in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

HDFC Life (1.36%), Hindalco (1.15%), Titan (1.06%) and Bharat Electronics (0.88%) were also among the gainers.

NIFTY Midcap 100 gainers and losers

NIFTY Midcap 100 index ended 0.61% or 365 points lower at 59,103. As many as 75 shares in the index ended lower.

AU Small Finance Bank was top loser in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index, the stock fell 3.75% to close at ₹724.70. Aurobindo Pharma (-3.29%), Vodafone Idea (-2.88%), Sona BLW (-2.85%) and Supreme Industries (-2.63%) were also among the losers.

On the flipside, Paytm was top gainer in the NIFTY Midcap 100 index, the stock rose 3.48% ahead of its earnings announcement.

Nykaa (2.40%), Vishal Mega Mart (1.49), UPL (1.47%) and PB Fintech (1.42%) were also among the gainers.

NIFTY Smallcap 100 gainers and losers

NIFTY Smallcap 100 index fell 0.34% or 65 points to close at 18,893. As many as 73 shares in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index ended lower.

Aarti Industries was top loser in the NIFTY Smallcap 100 index, the stock fell 4.06% to close at ₹423.95. Zensar Technologies (-3.86%), Reliance Power (-3.37%), Piramal Pharma (-3.05%) and Trident (-3.01%) were also among the losers.

On the contrary, Angel One rose 4.04% to close at ₹2,815 after SEBI allowed Jane Street to resume trading.

Narayana Hrudayalaya (3.82%), Ramco Cements (3.63%), Data Patterns (3.01%) and Tata Chemicals (2.62%) were also among the gainers.
