Shares of DCX Systems advanced 14.61% to an intra-day high of ₹285.80 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday, August 22.

The stock was trading 8.30% higher at ₹270.05 per equity share, at around 11:57 am.

The share has surged 12.17% so far this week and 4.62% since the beginning of August. During the first quarter of FY26, the scrip advanced 20.08% but has lost 20.99% on a year-to-date basis.

Recent development

In a regulatory filing this week, the defense company revealed that its executive director and chief financial officer (CFO), Diwakaraiah N J, resigned from the post, citing personal reasons. The resignation will be effective on August 31, 2025.

Furthermore, the firm appointed Gopinath Vedaprakas as an additional whole-time director on its board, effective September 1.

DCX Systems’ Q1 result

The company reported a 38.1% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹4.06 crore in the June quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q1FY26). In the corresponding period a year earlier, it had clocked a profit of ₹2.94 crore.

DCX Systems’ revenue from operations jumped 60.89% YoY to ₹222.16 crore during the quarter under review, compared to ₹138.08 crore in the first quarter of FY25.

At an operational level, its EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) stood at ₹11.54 crore in Q1FY26, marking a 7.85% YoY increase from ₹10.7 crore in the year-ago period.

Its EBIT margin, however, shrank by 197 basis points to 4.87% in the first quarter of FY26, as against 6.84% in the June quarter of FY25.

During the reporting quarter, it bagged orders from ELAT Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Elbit Systems, and other foreign and domestic customers worth more than ₹60 crore.

While the share hit a 52-week high of ₹393 on January 6, 2025, it reached a year’s low of ₹200.10 on April 7, 2025.
