After falling for five sessions, the equity benchmark indices on Tuesday rebounded to green territory as investors maintained a wait-and-watch stance following global cues.
At 1:20 PM, the S&P BSE SENSEX was trading at 74,669.97 levels, up 215.56 points, or 0.29%, while the NSE's NIFTY50 index was trading at 22,578.55, rising 25.20 points, or 0.11%.

Tata Investment: Shares of Tata Investment Corporation (TICL) surged as much as 10.3% to ₹6,343.80 apiece on the BSE on Tuesday, February 25, as Tata Capital, in its regulatory filing available on the BSE, said that the company's board has given a go-ahead for its initial public offering (IPO).
Tata Capital said that the board of directors of the company has approved the initial public offering (IPO) of the equity shares of face value of ₹10 each.

Zomato: Stock investors on Tuesday, February 25, gained confidence in food delivery giant Zomato as its shares soared over 3% during intraday trade on multiple factors.
At 11:30 AM, Zomato shares surged 3.14% to ₹229.68 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The scrip had rebounded 100% from its 52-week low of ₹144.30 touched on March 14, 2024. The company had touched its 52-week high on December 9 last year at ₹304.70 on the 50-share index.
Global broking firm Bernstein reaffirmed its bullishness on Zomato as competition in the quick commerce space heats up.

M&M: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) share price rose for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, as investors showed interest to buy the company's stock after it slipped over 9% last week.
Shares of the auto major was the biggest contributor on NIFTY50 index surging over 3% during the intraday trading period. At 1:19 PM, the scrip was trading 3.31% higher at ₹2789.5 per share.
Orchid Pharma: Shares of Orchid Pharma, a small-cap pharmaceuticals company, were locked in the 5% upper circuit limit of ₹1,014.45 apiece on the BSE on Tuesday, February 25.

Tata Communications: Shares of Tata Communications were trading lower almost 1.5% on Tuesday, February 25, as the firm had issued commercial papers to raise ₹465 crore.
At 10:45 AM, Tata Communications shares were trading 1.23% lower on NSE at ₹1,418.40 apiece. The scrip had touched its 52-week low of ₹1,415.1 during the intraday day on February 24, 2025.
The commercial papers had been issued on February 21 with May 23, 2025, as the date of redemption, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Apollo Tyres: Shares of Apollo Tyres, one of India’s largest tyre manufacturers, fell around 0.75% on Tuesday to hit their 52-week low of ₹398.3 apiece on NSE. The stock is down 24% in the last one year.

NTPC Green Energy: Shares of NTPC Green Energy were trading almost 1% higher on Tuesday, February 25, as the state-owned power giant on Monday said it has inked initial pacts to invest over ₹2 trillion in various renewable energy projects like solar, wind, pumped hydro storage, non-fossil fuel-based and other carbon neutral projects in Madhya Pradesh.
According to a statement issued by NTPC Ltd, the company, along with its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), has signed multiple MoUs with the Madhya Pradesh government during the Global Investors Summit, being held here on February 24-25.
During the intraday trade, shares of the company was ₹99.22 per share, rising 0.83% on NSE. Tata Communications had touched its 52-week low of ₹96.20 apiece on February 24, 2025.
PSU stocks: Shares of select state-run lenders, financial institutions, and insurers rallied in the trade on Tuesday, February 25, as the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) on Monday invited bids from merchant bankers and legal firms to assist the government to divest its stake in public sector banks and listed financial institutions.
During the intraday trade, Central Bank of India was trading 1.76% higher on the NSE, while Bank of Maharashtra shares were up nearly 1%. UCO Bank was trading 0.74% higher. Besides, IOB shares were trading 0.45% higher, and Punjab & Sind Bank was up 0.33%.
