Tata Capital share price: Shares of Tata Capital Ltd will be in the spotlight on Thursday, February 26, as the board of directors of its wholly-owned finance subsidiary, Tata Capital Housing Finance Ltd (TCHFL), approved the issuance of rights issue aggregating to ₹650.02 crore.

In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the board of directors of TCHFL, at its meeting held on February 25, approved the offer and issuance of equity shares of ₹10 each for an aggregate amount of ₹650.02 crore on a rights basis to Tata Capital in one or more tranches.

“The company has received intimation in respect of the above from TCHFL today, i.e., February 25, 2026, at 12:29 p.m,” Tata Capital added.

Tata Capital Q3 results

The firm reported a 17% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,257 crore in the third quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q3 FY26), compared to ₹1,076 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Tata Capital’s interest income advanced by 10% YoY to ₹7,242 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹6,585 crore in the December quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q3 FY25).

The NBFC’s assets under management (AUM) surged 26% YoY to ₹2,34,114 crore as on December 31, 2025, in comparison to ₹1,86,404 crore as on December 31, 2024.

Tata Capital stock performance

Shares of Tata Capital closed 0.77% lower at ₹334.85 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.

The stock has lost 6% in the past week and 5% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has declined by 2%.

While the scrip hit a 52-week high of ₹367.30 on January 20, 2026, it touched a year’s low of ₹315.10 on November 21, 2025.
