Further, the management also revised the FY27 EBITDA margin guidance to 15–16% from the earlier 17%.
The company said that its net worth has crossed ₹10,000 crore. Suzlon Energy reported an order book of over 6 GW, with record H1 FY27 deliveries and order intake of more than 1.5 GW during the first half of the financial year.
The EPC projects accounted for 38% of the order book, up from 22% in Q1 FY26, in line with the company’s strategy to increase the EPC share to 50% by FY28. Public sector undertaking (PSU) and commercial and industrial (C&I) customers accounted for 78% of the total order book.
“Despite commodity and currency volatility, Suzlon delivered 26% YoY revenue growth to ₹4,869 crore in Q2 FY27, with EBITDA of ₹720 crore, reflecting disciplined execution and operating leverage. We are strengthening our manufacturing and execution capabilities while maintaining focus on margin, cash flow and disciplined capital allocation,” said Rahul Jain, Chief Financial Officer, Suzlon Group.
“Q2 26 included a deferred tax asset creation of ₹ 891 crore; excluding this impact, the underlying year-on-year improvement in profitability is stronger,” Jain added.
Ajay Kapur, CEO of Suzlon Group, said record Q2 deliveries of 710 MW and commissioning of 454 MW reflected stronger execution and were driving revenue growth. He added that H1 order intake exceeded 1.5 GW and the order book stood at over 6 GW, demonstrating the company’s ability to convert demand into deliveries while maintaining a strong pipeline for future growth.
UBS analysts in a note on Friday said that the management has lowered FY27 EBITDA margin guidance to 15–16% from 17%, while noting that its operating cash flow turned negative at ₹200 crore in the first half of FY27.
They have also highlighted that the firm has cut their earnings per share (EPS) estimates for FY27, FY28 and FY29 by 10%, 11% and 9%, respectively. However, Suzlon Energy has retained their FY31 targets of around 40% market share and annual sales of approximately 10 GW.
