Stocks to Watch: The GIFT NIFTY futures indicate that the NIFTY50 index will open 39 points higher on Thursday, June 12.

Here is a list of stocks that may remain in focus today.
Zydus Life: The company said it has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US FDA for the inspection conducted at its API manufacturing facility located at Ankleshwar.

This facility underwent an inspection from 10th to 14th March 2025, and the inspection has been classified as No Action Indicated (NAI). The USFDA has concluded that this inspection is “closed”, it said.

Sterlite Tech, Dilip Buildcon: Sterlite Technologies, through its demerged vertical Global Services Business, in a consortium with Dilip Buildcon Limited, bagged an order worth ₹2,631.14 crore from BSNL on Wednesday, June 11.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) awarded the project to the consortium for designing, supplying, constructing, installing, upgrading, operating and maintaining the middle-mile network under BharatNet for the telecom circles in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Sterile Tech said in a regulatory filing.

Hindustan Copper: State-run Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) will invest around ₹2,000 crore over the next five to six years to expand its mining operations, primarily at its flagship Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP) in Madhya Pradesh, a top company official said.

The investment is part of HCL's broader plan to triple its ore production capacity from the current 4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) to 12.2 MTPA by FY2030-31.

However, this capital expenditure excludes the development of the Rakha and Chapri mines in Jharkhand, which are being revived through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

MCX: Shares of MCX will be in focus as the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Wednesday said it has received the approval from markets regulator SEBI to launch monthly electricity futures contracts.

MCX shares will be in focus, as recently the commodity exchange itself received SEBI's approval to launch electricity derivatives.

The launch aims to provide market participants with effective hedging tools against electricity price volatility, enable more accurate price signals in the power sector and encourage capital investments across the electricity value chain – generation, transmission, distribution, and retail.

RailTel Corporation of India: The company has received a work order from South Eastern Coalfields Limited for an amount of ₹11.95 crore (including tax).
AWL Agri Business, Marico, Patanjali Foods, and Godrej Agrovet: Shares of these FMCG companies will be in focus as the food ministry has ordered edible oil industry associations to immediately pass on import duty reductions to consumers, following a government decision to halve customs duties on crude oils amid soaring food inflation.

The Centre has reduced the Basic Customs Duty (BCD) on crude edible oils – crude sunflower, soybean, and palm oils – from 20% to 10%, resulting in the import duty differential between crude and refined edible oils increasing from 8.75% to 19.25%.

CE Info: Shares will be in focus as digital payments major PhonePe Pvt. Ltd. has launched a block deal to sell 5% equity in CE Info Systems Ltd., which operates MapMyIndia, for ₹476.2 crore, according to a report by CNBC-TV18.
