MOIL: State-owned MOIL has reported around a 7% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its manganese ore output to 5.02 lakh tonnes in the April-June quarter, an official statement said Thursday.

In June, MOIL recorded its highest-ever production of 1.68 lakh tonnes of manganese ore, marking a 2% increase over the corresponding period last year, the Ministry of Steel said.

"MOIL scales new heights in April-June, 2025. Registers record quarterly production since inception," it said.

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX): Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) has reported a 6.5% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in electricity trade volumes at 10,852 million units (MUs) in June.

A total of 32.32 lakh renewable energy certificates (RECs) were traded in the trading sessions held on June 11 and June 25, at a clearing price of Rs 350/REC and Rs 360/REC, respectively.

The next REC trading sessions are scheduled on July 9 and July 25, the country's leading electricity exchange said in a statement.

In the day-ahead market (DAM), IEX achieved 4,610 MU volumes in June as compared to 4,849 MU in June last year, posting a year-on-year (Y-o-Y) fall of 5%.

UCO Bank: State-owned UCO Bank on Thursday said it has registered a credit growth of 16.58%, at 2.25 lakh crore, in the April-June quarter.

The outstanding credit was Rs 1.93 lakh crore at the end of the first quarter of the previous fiscal year, UCO Bank said in a regulatory filing.

The Kolkata-headquartered lender reported an 11.57% increase in total deposits to Rs 2.99 lakh crore in the reporting quarter as against Rs 2.68 lakh crore at the end of the first quarter of the previous financial year.

MobiKwik: MobiKwik Securities Broking Pvt Ltd (MSBPL), a fully owned arm of One MobiKwik Systems Ltd, has received the green light from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to operate as a stockbroker and clearing member.

SEBI issued the certificate of registration to MSBPL on July 1, 2025, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

With this approval, MSBPL can now buy, sell, deal, clear, and settle equity trades in the Indian stock market.

BEML: BEML, a defence public sector undertaking (PSU), on Thursday announced a major infrastructure expansion at its historic Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) complex, located in Bengaluru.

The commissioning of three next-generation units dedicated to defence production reflects BEML’s strategic push to enhance indigenous capabilities and accelerate the delivery of mission-critical military platforms, the company said in a statement.

The new facilities were inaugurated by BEML Chairman and Managing Director Shantanu Roy in the presence of the company’s functional directors and senior leadership.

Vedanta: Vedanta registered a decline in production of saleable steel, oil and gas, and refined metal in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

However, aluminum production rose marginally by 1% to 6,05,000 tonnes during the first quarter, and the iron ore output also increased by 42% to 1.8 million tonnes during the period.

The production of saleable steel dropped 2% to 3,49,000 tonnes, in the case of refined metal, the decline was by 5% to 2,50,000 tonnes.

In oil and gas, Vedanta's average daily gross operated production dropped 17% during the quarter to 93,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd).

NBCC: State-owned NBCC Ltd. has signed an initial pact with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) to renovate and redevelop the iconic 5.5-acre Siri Fort Auditorium complex in the national capital into a world-class cultural destination.

Siri Fort Auditorium, located in South Delhi, was constructed in 1982 during the Asian Games. It currently has four auditoriums with a combined seating of over 2,600.

In the past four decades, the auditorium complex has hosted global film festivals, musical events, and public events.

In a regulatory filing on Thursday, NBCC announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NFDC for the "comprehensive renovation and redevelopment of Siri Fort Auditorium Complex."

ONGC: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has signed an agreement with Japan's Mitsui OSK Lines to enter into a partnership to build two very large ethane carriers that will be used to import petrochemical feedstock for its subsidiary.

In a regulatory filing, ONGC said it signed a Heads of Agreement on Thursday with Mitsui "to enter into a partnership to build, own, and operate two very large ethane carriers (VLECs).

It, however, did not give financial details of the partnership, including the equity stake the two firms would hold.

Marico: Marico expects a 'modest operating profit' in the June quarter as it continued to witness sequential inflation in some key raw material inputs, such as copra.

While vegetable oil prices eased following the cut in import duty by the government, and crude oil derivatives remained range-bound," it added.

Owing to this, gross margin is expected to be under "incremental pressure on a particularly high base and partly due to the pricing-led high denominator effect.

Bank of Baroda: The state-owned bank’s global business as of June 30, 2025, grew 10.7% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹26.43 trillion as compared to ₹23.87 trillion in the same quarter last fiscal year.

Its global deposits also increased 9.13% YoY to ₹14.35 trillion during the quarter as compared to ₹13.15 trillion in Q1 FY25. The global advances of the bank also increased 12.63% to ₹12.07 trillion as of June 30, 2025, as against ₹10.71 trillion YoY.

Bajaj Finance: The company, in its business update for Q1 FY26, said that new loans booked grew by 23% to 13.49 MM in Q1 FY26 as compared to 10.97 MM in Q1 FY25. Assets under management (AUM) grew by 25% to approximately ₹441,400 crore as of 30 June 2025 as compared to ₹354,192 crore as of June 30, 2024. In Q1 FY26, AUM grew by approximately ₹24,750 crore.

The deposits book grew by 15% to approximately ₹72,100 crore as of 30 June 2025 as compared to ₹62,774 crore as of June 30, 2024.

Bajaj Housing Finance: The company disbursed (gross disbursement) approximately ₹14,640 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to ₹12,004 crore in Q1 FY25. Its assets under management (AUM) grew by 24% to approximately ₹1,20,400 crore as of June 30, 2025, as compared to ₹97,071 crore as of June 30, 2024.

AUM in Q1 FY26 grew by approximately ₹5,716 crore.

PC Jeweller: The company said that despite the volatility in the gold prices, it was able to achieve a standalone revenue growth of approximately 80% as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company witnessed high demand for its products on account of wedding/festive purchases by its customers during the quarter.
Godavari Biorefineries: The company has been granted a patent in Europe for its novel anticancer molecule. This patent is now validated in Spain, the UK, and as a Unitary Patent. The patent subject area is “Anti-Cancer Research Segment.” The patent covers a very potent anticancer compound with proven efficacy on cancer and cancer stem cells.
