Globally, the US indices closed higher on Monday as investors weighed President Donald Trump's proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. Despite initial concerns, markets remained resilient, focusing on upcoming policy developments and economic data.
The S&P 500 rose 0.67% to end at 6,066.44 points. The Nasdaq gained 0.98% to 19,714.27 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.38% at 44,470.41 points.
Asian markets were trading mixed on Tuesday. Japan's benchmark Nikkei remained flat during early trading session. South Korea's Kospi rose 0.64% to 2,537.31. Hong Kong's Hang Seng dipped 0.23% to 21,473.11, while the Shanghai Composite also was lower at 3,309.29, falling 0.39%.
Earnings today: The Q3 earnings season is in its last leg, and many important companies will announce their Q3 report cards on Tuesday, February 11. They include active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturer Lupin, India's third largest telecom operator Vodafone Idea, train booking platform Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), paint and coating company Berger Paints India, healthcare products maker Procter and Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, state-run steel production corporate Steel Authority of India, capital markets firm Tata Investment Corporation and state-owned NBCC (India).

Honda India Power: Honda India Power on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹19.09 crore for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal (Q3 FY25), down 33% as compared to ₹28.32 crore in the year-ago fiscal.
The company posted a revenue of ₹204.18 crore for the quarter under review, down 22.5%, while its EBITDA was down 37% at ₹20.8 crore.
Eicher Motors: The automobile company on Monday posted a net profit of ₹1,170.50 crore for the quarter that ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25), up 18% year-on-year (YoY) as compared to ₹995.97 crore in the previous fiscal year.
The Royal Enfield maker's revenue from operations increased by 19% to ₹4,973.12 crore in the reporting quarter as compared to ₹4,178.84 crore in Q3 FY24. The automobile company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined to ₹93.56 crore in Q3 FY25, down 17% from ₹113.20 crore in the year-ago quarter. The EBITDA margin for the quarter under review stood at 20.8%.
Nykaa: FSN E-Commerce Ventures, which owns and operates Nykaa, the online retailer, on Monday, February 10, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹26.12 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25). The figure grew 61.4% on-year as the company had posted a profit of ₹16.18 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue from operations for the quarter under review came in at ₹2,267.21 crore, up 26.7% from ₹1,788.80 crore registered in the December 2023 quarter.
Force Motors: The company reported a 35% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit to ₹115.3 crore in Q3 FY24, compared to ₹85.4 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue increased 11.7% YoY to ₹1,889.5 crore, up from ₹1,691.7 crore in Q3 FY23.
Bata Industries: The company reported 1.2% rise in its net profit YoY at ₹58.7 crore while its revenue stood at ₹918.8 crore rising 1.7% on year.
Ashoka Buildcon: The company reported a strong rise in profitability for Q3 FY25, with profit before tax surging 62.4% YoY to ₹306.7 crore. Ashok Buildcon’s revenue for the quarter stood at ₹2,387.9 crore, reflecting a 10.1% decline from ₹2,657.1 crore in the same period last year.
Lupin: Pharma major Lupin received approval from the USFDA for its new drug application for Ipratropium Bromide Nasal Solution to market a generic equivalent. The product will be manufactured at the company’s Pithampur facility in India.
RVNL: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a significant railway project valued at approximately ₹211 crore. The order has been awarded by the South Eastern Railway for the upgradation of the electric traction system from 1x25 KV to 2x25 KV in the Kharagpur-Tatanagar section of the Kharagpur/Chakradharpur division.
Reliance Industries: Reliance Consumer Products entered the sports hydration drink segment with Spinner. The drink, which is being offered at ₹10 for a 150 ml bottle, has been co-created with former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan.
