Stock market live: The headline indices were trading flat with a negative bias in the noon deals on Thursday, March 13.

At 12:13 PM, the S&P BSE SENSEX was trading at 74,012.57, down 17.19 points, or 0.02%, while the NSE's NIFTY50 index was trading at 22,439.10, down 31.40 points, or 0.14%.

In the broader market, the BSE MidCap index was trading at 39,274.85, down 89.74 points, or 0.23%, while the BSE SmallCap index was trading at 43,968.51, down 149.30 points, or 0.34%.

Here is a list of stocks that are buzzing in today's trade.
MTNL: Shares of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) rallied as much as 18.3% to ₹51.18 apiece on the NSE on Thursday, a day after the Parliament was informed that state-owned telecom firms BSNL and MTNL have earned a total of ₹12,984.86 crore from monetisation of land, buildings, towers, and fibre since 2019.

According to data shared by Minister of State for Communications Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar in Lok Sabha, BSNL has earned ₹2,387.82 crore and MTNL ₹2,134.61 crore up to January 2025 from monetisation of lands and buildings.

Bharat Electronics: Shares of Bharat Electronics (BEL), the Navratna defence public sector undertaking (PSU), rose as much as 3.24% to hit an intraday high of ₹285.80 on the NSE after the company post-market hours on Wednesday informed exchanges that it has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence worth Rs 2,463 crore.

At the time of writing this article, the stock was trading 2% higher at ₹282.34 on the NSE.

Coromandel International: Shares of the company soared as much as 2.45% to ₹1,805 apiece on the NSE as the company has acquired a majority 53% stake in agrochemical firm NACL Industries Ltd for ₹820 crore.

Besides, the company said it would launch an open offer to buy an additional up to 26% of equity.

In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, Coromandel International said the board has "approved the acquisition of 10,68,96,146 equity shares of the NACL Industries, representing 53.13% of the paid-up equity share capital..." READ MORE
Data Patterns: Shares of Data Patterns were trading around 6.5% higher at ₹1,689.05 apiece on the NSE. Data Patterns is a vertically integrated defence and aerospace electronics solutions provider catering to the indigenously developed defence products industry.
Gensol Engineering: Shares of Gensol Engineering were locked in the 5% lower circuit limit at ₹262.25 apiece on the NSE. The stock has been under immense selling pressure ever since CARE Ratings and ICRA downgraded the company's credit ratings.

The stock is down 56% in one month.

Bharat Forge: Shares of the company were trading over 4% lower at ₹1,045.85 apiece on the NSE. The stock has fallen around 20% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.
KEC International: KEC International shares were trading over 5% lower at ₹677.20 apiece on the NSE. The stock is down around 44% YTD.

Last week, the company received a refund of ₹177 crore from the Income Tax Department.

IndusInd Bank: Shares were trading 0.35% lower at ₹682.30 apiece on the NSE.

CLSA, in its latest note on the lender, said that over the next 2-3 quarters, there will be lingering uncertainty over more skeletons in the closet and management continuity. If a PSU banker is appointed, there would be even more negative sentiment for the stock.

Jubilant Pharmova: Shares of Jubilant Pharmova surged as much as 3.46% to ₹895 apiece on the NSE.

On Tuesday, the company said that its subsidiary Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA, (Jubilant Cadista)’s solid oral formulations facility at Salisbury, Maryland, USA (Facility) has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) with Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) status from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for the said Facility with respect to the inspection conducted by the said regulatory agency in January 2025.

Godfrey Phillips: Godfrey Phillips' stock price was locked in the 5% upper circuit limit of ₹5,708.25 on the NSE.
