Stock market highlights: GMDC Ltd, Piccadily Agro hit 52-week high today; check full list

SUMMARY

NIFTY50 and SENSEX are trading positively with minor gains. Despite range-bound market movement, over 40 stocks hit their 52-week highs today on the NSE. GMDC Ltd, Fortis Healthcare, Indian Bank, Piccadily Agro and others have hit their 52-week high respectively.

As many as 44 stocks hit their 52-week highs on the NSE, despite flat market today.

Stock market live: Benchmark indices are trading in a range-bound manner today. At 12:30 PM, the SENSEX was up 129 points, or 0.16%, at 81,554, while the broader NIFTY50 index is trading marginally higher at 25,000, up 0.11% or 26 points.

Broader market indices like NIFTY Midcap100 (+0.17%) and NIFTY Smallcap100 (+0.26%) are also trading higher but with minor gains. Despite flat market move today, as many as 44 stocks hit their 52-week highs on the NSE.

The volatility index, or India VIX, is down 0.04% to 10.53. Among the key sectoral indices, NIFTY Oil & Gas (+1.2%) and NIFTY PSU Bank (+1.0%) were the top gainers, while NIFTY IT (-0.7%) and NIFTY Auto (-0.3%) were the top losers.

Acme Solar Holdings

Shares of Acme Solar rose over 5% intraday and hit a 52-week high of ₹318 per share. The company saw a traded value of over ₹112 crore, while its market cap stood at ₹18,706 crore. The company’s shares have gained over 30% so far this year amid new order inflows.

The company stock saw strong interest today after its subsidiary ACME Venus Urja Pvt. Ltd. secured project funding worth ₹3,892 crore from State Bank of India. The company will use these funds to develop and construct a 400 megawatt firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan.

Piccadily Agro Industries

Piccadily Agro Industries shares rose over 16% intraday to hit a 52-week high of ₹744 per share. Yesterday, the company’s board approved conversion of over 28.49 lakh Compulsory Convertible Debentures(CCDs) into equivalent equity shares to the non-promoter/public shareholder category.

The company saw a traded value of over ₹175 crore, while its market cap stood at ₹6,734 crore. Despite today’s rise, the company’s shares are down over 19% on NSE.
