At 11:51 AM, the S&P BSE SENSEX was trading at 80,009.15, up 523 points, or 0.66%, while the NSE's NIFTY50 was trading at 24,308.20 levels, up 160 points, or 0.66%.

Asian Paints: Shares of Asian Paints cracked over 9% on Monday, November 11, as the paint major posted a disappointing set of numbers for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2 F25), owing to a subdued demand environment, material price inflation, and a decline in the decorative and coatings business in the domestic market.
The company on Saturday reported a 43.71% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹693.66 crore for the September quarter. It had logged a net profit of ₹1,232.39 crore during the July-September period a year ago.
The stock declined as much as 9.3% to hit a low of ₹2,511.65 on the NSE in the opening deals.
Tata Motors: Shares of
Tata Motors gained as much as 3.16% to ₹831.20 apiece on the BSE on Monday, November 11, as the Street looked convinced with the company's commentary and outlook for H2 2025, even though the September quarter numbers were weak amid challenges such as supply constraints.
Commenting on the outlook, Tata Motors said, "JLR wholesales are expected to improve sharply as supply challenges ease. Overall, we expect an all-round improvement in performance in H2 FY25 and the business to become net debt-free by this year."
Power Grid: Shares of Power Grid surged over 4% to ₹330.40 apiece on the BSE. Last week, the state-owned entity said its consolidated net profit stood almost flat at ₹3,793.02 crore in the July-September quarter of this financial year.
It had reported a consolidated net profit of ₹3,781.42 crore for the quarter under review.
The total income of the company rose to ₹11,845.93 crore from ₹11,530.43 crore in the same period a year ago.
Shipping Corporation of India (SCI): Shares rallied over 14% to ₹242.55 apiece on the BSE after the company on Friday reported a multi-fold rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹291.44 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024.
It had reported a net profit of ₹65.73 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
PFC: The stock gained 8.82% to hit a high of ₹489.10 on the BSE as the state-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Friday posted a nearly 9% rise in consolidated net profit at ₹7,214.90 crore for the September quarter, mainly on the back of higher revenues.
The company logged a profit of ₹6,628.17 crore in the same period of FY24. Total income rose to ₹25,754.73 crore from ₹22,387.32 crore a year ago.
Aarti Industries: Aarti Industries share price nosedived 10% to ₹427.30 on the BSE as the company posted a 43% drop in its net profit at ₹52 crore in Q2 FY25 as compared to ₹91 crore logged in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
EBITDA dropped by 13% to ₹202 crore.
C.E. Info Systems (MapMyIndia): The stock was trading 7% lower at ₹1,912 on the BSE after the reported 8.20% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹30.33 crore in Q2 FY25 as against ₹33.04 crore posted in Q2 FY24.
Revenue from operations jumped 13.82% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹103.67 crore in Q2 FY25.
LIC: Shares of
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) were trading 1.5% to ₹928.50 apiece on the BSE as the state-owned insurer on Friday reported a 3.8% decline in net profit to ₹7,621 crore for the quarter ended September 30, on lower other income.
The country's biggest insurer had reported a net profit of ₹7,925 crore in the year-ago period.
IFCI Ltd: Shares of IFCI Ltd were trading 7.5% higher at ₹66.23 per unit on the BSE. IFCI, previously Industrial Finance Corporation of India, is a development finance institution under the ownership of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
