SBI Funds Q1 results: SBI Funds Management reported its earnings for the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27) on Monday, August 3.

The company recorded a 3.7% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹880.25 crore during the quarter under review, compared with ₹848.84 crore in the June quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Its revenue from operations jumped 51.14% YoY to ₹1,152.73 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, as against ₹1,000.09 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing.

Its mutual fund (MF) quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at ₹12.6 trillion, up 11% YoY from the year-ago period, reflecting a market share of 15.1%.

The company’s actively managed equity QAAUM recorded a 10% YoY growth to ₹8.6 trillion for the reporting quarter, marking a market share of 12.5%.

Its Passive QAAUM increased 12% YoY to ₹4 trillion for Q1 FY27, indicating a market share of 27.4%.

Its alternate AUM, comprising Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), advisory and offshore funds, stood at ₹16.5 trillion during the quarter, including AIF QAAUM of about ₹6,800 crore, which was up 29% YoY.

Its systematic investment plan (SIP) AUM rose 15% YoY to ₹2 trillion as of June 30, 2026, representing a 12.3% market share.

The fund manager’s unique customers advanced 12% YoY to 1.82 crore, with total live folios of 2.2 crore, up 14% as of June 30, 2026.

SBI Funds Management stock performance

Shares of SBI Funds Management, which manages SBI Mutual Fund, closed 0.19% lower at ₹588.05 per unit on the National Stock Exchange on Monday. However, the results were declared after the market closed.

The stock had debuted at ₹613.30 apiece on the NSE on July 22, reflecting a premium of 6.85% from the issue price.

The ₹9,812.91 crore initial share sale was solely an offer for sale (OFS) component of 17.09 crore shares by promoters State Bank of India (SBI) and Amundi India Holding.

SBI Funds Management has a total market capitalisation of ₹1.20 lakh crore as of August 3, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
