Shares of Reliance Power gained as much as 2.72% to touch an intraday high of ₹45.98 apiece on Monday, September 29 after the company said it will sell 100% stake in several Indonesian step-down subsidiaries to Singapore-based Biotruster Pte Ltd for around USD 12 million.

At 1:44 PM, shares of Reliance Power were trading 2.32% higher at ₹45.80, per equity share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). A share purchase agreement has been signed among Reliance Power Netherlands BV, Reliance Natural Resources (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Biotruster (Singapore) Pte Ltd to this effect.

Reliance Power will sell 100% equity shareholding in PT Avaneesh Coal Resources, PT Heramba Coal Resources, PT Sumukha Coal Services, PT Brayan Bintang Tiga Energi, and PT Sriwijaya Bintang Tiga Energi, subject to certain conditions precedent and other customary terms and conditions, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Around USD 12 million will be received on the closure of the deal. Reliance Power further noted that the buyer does not belong to the promoter/promoter group/group companies.

In the past five trading sessions, Reliance Power shares fell by 5.99%. Conversely, the stock rose by 3.96% over the last month. Similarly, the scrip also gained 8.74% in the past six months and 2.08% year-to-date.

The stock recorded a 52-week high of ₹76.49 on June 11, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹31.27 on March 3, 2025. As of September 29, the company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹18,933.56 crore.
