The rally in Reliance Power shares shows a marked change in trading activity compared to recent weeks, reflecting active buying in the market.

At 12:57 PM, shares of Reliance Power were trading 8.66% higher at ₹48.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

On Monday, October 6, Reliance Power said the company has received a show cause notice from SEBI in relation to Reliance Infrastructure Limited’s exposure in CLE Private Limited for alleged violation of SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices) Regulations, 2003, read with the SEBI Act, 1992.

Reliance Power clarified that it has zero exposure to CLE Private Limited and that the company shall take appropriate steps in the matter, as legally advised.

Reliance Power Q1 results

Reliance Power reported a consolidated net profit of ₹44.68 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q1FY26), as the company trimmed its expenses. In the corresponding period a year ago, the firm had reported a loss of ₹97.85 crore. The company’s revenue from operations declined by 5.35% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,885.58 crore in the quarter under review, compared to ₹1,992.23 crore in the June quarter of FY25.

Its total income stood at ₹2,025.31 crore in Q1FY26, falling 2.12% YoY from ₹2,069.18 crore in the year-ago quarter.
