Equity benchmark indices SENSEX and NIFTY were trading flat on Tuesday as investors stayed on the sidelines ahead of the formal announcement of a trade deal with the United States.

The NIFTY50 is down 0.04% to 24,451, while SENSEX is up 23 points to 83,465 at 12:23 pm.

From the NIFTY firms, Titan, Dr Reddy's, Trent, Cipla, Bajaj Auto, Sun Pharma, Maruti, Bharti Airtel and Mahindra & Mahindra were among the laggards.

Kotak Mahindra Bank, Eternal, Grasim, BEL, Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, ICICI Bank and Infosys were top gainers.

Buzzing stocks on July 8; check list

Siemens Energy India share price: Shares of the energy technology firm advanced 2% to ₹3,060.4 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) after the company announced its March quarter earnings.

The company posted a 57% increase in its fourth quarter revenue to ₹1,879.5 crore compared to ₹1,196.6 crore a year back. Its net profit climbed 36.34% to ₹246.1 crore in the quarter ended March 2025 compared to ₹180.5 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Nectar Lifesciences share price: The stock hit a 20% lower circuit at ₹18.5 per unit after the company announced the sale of its core business—comprising the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and formulations—to Ceph Lifesciences Pvt Ltd for ₹1,270 crore.

"Additionally, the company has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement (APA) for the sale of its menthol business assets to Ceph Lifesciences for ₹20 crore, marking a comprehensive restructuring move aligned with its future strategy," the pharma player said in an exchange filing.

Schloss Bangalore share price: Shares of 'The Leela' hotel chain operator rose 4% to ₹422.95 apiece on the NSE. This comes after the investment banking firm Morgan Stanley initiated coverage of the stock with an 'overweight' rating.
Ventive Hospitality share price: The stock climbed 4% to ₹744 apiece after the company announced the expansion of their strategic partnership with Marriott International by finalising management contracts for seven luxury hotels comprising 1,548 keys across India and Sri Lanka.

"This partnership, one of India's largest in the luxury and upper-upscale hotel sector, leverages the strength of Ventive Hospitality’s project execution capabilities along with Marriott International’s renowned brands and hotel management expertise," the regulatory filing stated.

Omaxe share price: The real estate developer through its subsidiaries has announced a major expansion in Madhya Pradesh by acquiring a 450-acre land parcel along the Super Corridor in Indore. With around ₹1,200 crore investment, the development will be completed in multiple phases and is likely to generate ₹2,500 crore in revenue over the next three years.
Macrotech Developers share price: Shares of Macrotech Developers, which will be renamed to Lodha Developers w.e.f. July 11, were down 1.5% to ₹1,356.6 apiece. The realty firm acquired five land parcels in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune and Bengaluru during the April-June quarter to develop housing projects with a revenue potential of ₹22,700 crore.
