Buzzing stocks: Benchmark indices SENSEX and NIFTY descended on Friday, dragged down by selling pressure in IT stocks after the earnings announcement by TCS.

SENSEX dropped 609 points to 82,581, while NIFTY slipped 0.67% to 25,185 at 12:38 pm.

TCS, Mahindra and Mahindra, Apollo Hospital, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, Infosys, Reliance and Bajaj Finserv were among the major laggards from the NIFTY50 pack.

However, Hindustan Unilever, SBI Life, Axis Bank, Nestle India and UltraTech Cement were among the gainers.

Buzzing stocks on July 11, 2025; check list

HUL share price: Shares of diversified FMCG Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) surged as much as 5% to ₹2,529.90 on the NSE after announcing that Priya Nair will lead the company as its first woman CEO and Managing Director effective August 1, 2025.

She replaces Rohit Jawa, who will resign from the top post on July 31, 2025, to follow the next chapter in his personal and professional journey, the company said in a statement.

Speaking on the development, HUL Chairman Nitin Paranjpe said, "Priya has had an outstanding career in HUL and Unilever. I am certain that with her deep understanding of the Indian market and excellent track record, Priya will take HUL to the next level of performance."

Glenmark Pharma share price: Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals skyrocketed 15% to ₹2,189.6 apiece after the firm said it has signed an agreement with AbbVie to commercialise its underdevelopment drug to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases in an up to USD $2 billion deal. This is one of the largest transactions in the pharma sector.

Ichnos Glenmark Innovation, a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of Glenmark, has signed the deal for its lead investigational asset, 'ISB 2001', which is targeted for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases.

Under the agreement, AbbVie will lead global development, manufacturing and commercialisation in North America, Japan, Europe and Greater China. On the other hand, Glenmark will develop, manufacture and lead commercialisation in emerging markets.

RPP Infra share price: The civil construction firm has secured a ₹365.85 crore order for retrofitting work for providing water supply through "FHTC as per JIM Guidelines in 202 Main Habitations and 355 other Habitations of Ajmer Rural, Arain and Silora Blocks of District Ajmer from Bisalpur dam System under Jal Jeevan Mission with Operation and Maintenance for 10 years."

The order will be executed in 20 months. The stock is up 1.54% to ₹139.66 per unit on NSE.

Dodla Dairy share price: The Board of Directors of the dairy products maker has approved the acquisition of HR Food Processing Pvt Ltd, which manufactures and sells milk and milk products under the 'OSAM' brand. The target company has a strong presence in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern dairy markets. The deal size is ₹271 crore.

The stock is trading at ₹1,411.9 per unit, down 0.14%, on the NSE.

Zee Entertainment share price: The stock slipped 3.45% to ₹137 per unit on the NSE after the TV broadcaster's shareholders turned down a proposal to raise ₹2,237.44 crore from promoter group entities, which would have increased promoter shareholding to 18.4%, as per a filing on NSE.
Avenue Supermarts: The DMart operator will declare its earnings for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26 on Friday. The company is likely to post a net profit between ₹870 crore and ₹910 crore, which is up 12% and 17% YoY, according to experts.
