On Monday, 61 stocks reached 52-week highs, while the frontline indices were in the red. The NIFTY50 traded at 23,930, down 1.54%, and the SENSEX at 78,570, down 1.45%. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank declined to 51,295, down 0.73%, and India VIX, the volatility index, was above the 17 level, rising over 8%.
Broader market indices were also in negative territory, with the Nifty Midcap 100 down 1.39% and the Nifty Smallcap 100 down 2.07%. Sectoral indices showed negative trends, with Nifty Energy, Nifty Media, and Nifty Realty leading the declines, each down about 3%.
The company is a multi-speciality hospital chain in India specializing in paediatrics, obstetrics, and gynaecology.
On Monday, the stock surged 8.99% from the previous close, hitting a 52-week high of ₹1,688.80.
The company has been consistently growing its top line and bottom line. In FY19, its sales stood at ₹543 crore, which grew to ₹1,297 crore, achieving a 5-year CAGR of 19.02%. Over the same period, profits expanded by more than 4.5 times, with operating margins increasing from 28% to 33%.
In Q2 FY25, revenue rose to ₹417 crore from ₹333 crore in Q2 FY24, marking a 25.48% YoY increase, and PAT reached ₹79 crore, up from ₹63 crore in Q2 FY24.
Over the past month, the company delivered a 14.62% market return, with a current market capitalization of ₹16,363 crore.
