NIFTY50 firm above 26,100; Radico Khaitan, JP Power, Hero MotoCorp, Groww among buzzing stocks

The Indian equity benchmarks were trading firmly higher on Thursday, November 20, led by gains in index heavyweights like Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, ITC and Bajaj Finserv. The SENSEX rose as much as 312 points and NIFTY50 index touched an intraday high of 26,152 amid positive cues from global markets.

As of 12:12 pm, the SENSEX was up 287 points at 85,474 and NIFTY50 index advanced 92 points to 26,145.

Here are buzzing stocks in Thursday's session:
Radico Khaitan: Shares of alcoholic beverages maker jumped as much as 11.22% to hit a record high of ₹3,591.90 on the National Stock Exchange. On the BSE, Radico Khaitan shares climbed as much as 14.45% to hit an all-time high of ₹3,695 amid higher than usual trading volumes.

With today's jump in stock price, Radico Khaitan posted its best single-day performance in over a year on the NSE. While, on the BSE, Radico Khaitan posted its best day in over five years, data from BSE showed.

Trading volume in Radico Khaitan shares spiked by 7 times as 14.80 lakh shares changed hands on the NSE compared with an average trading volume of 2.24 lakh shares.

On the BSE, as many as 1.07 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 9,204 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Jaiprakash Power Ventures: Shares of Jaiprakash Power Ventures jumped as much as 12.43% to hit an intraday high of ₹22.79 after billionaire Gautam Adani backed Adani Enterprises won the approval of creditors of Jaiprakash Associates (JAL) for its ₹14,535 crore acquisition proposal for the bankrupt infrastructure group.

Adani Enterprises, the flagship firm of Adani Group, outbid Vedanta and Dalmia Bharat to win the bid for JP Associates.

"The Committee of Creditors (COC) of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL), a company undergoing Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 (IBC), has approved the Resolution Plan submitted by Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL)," AEL said in a stock exchange filing.

Billionbrains Garage Ventures: Share of the brokerage firm Groww dropped for a second straight session on Thursday. The stock dropped as much as 9.29% to hit an intraday low of ₹162.27.

Groww debuted on the stock exchanges NSE and BSE on November 12, 2025.

On Monday, November 17, the stock climbed 20% to ₹178.23 per unit, its upper-circuit level, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The company's market valuation crossed the coveted ₹1 lakh crore mark.

On Tuesday, November 18, the stock jumped another 11% to hit a high of ₹193.80 on the NSE. This translated to a whopping 94% jump from the IPO issue price of ₹100.

Hero MotoCorp: Shares of the two-wheeler maker rose nearly 3% to hit a 52-week high of ₹6,042 apiece on Thursday, November 20, as analysts shared positive views on the company following its September quarter earnings.

The stock has been rallying for four sessions and has crossed ₹6,000 per share for the first time since September 2024. At 11:10 AM, Hero MotoCorp shares were trading at ₹6,023 apiece on NSE, rising 2.49%.

The stock has climbed over 9% in a week, while for a three-month period, it has jumped 17%. On a yearly basis, it has zoomed 26%. Since the beginning of 2025, Hero MotorCorp shares have soared more than 44%. The firm has a market capitalisation of ₹1.21 lakh crore.

The company had reported quarterly revenue of ₹12,126 crore, up 16% from ₹10,463 crore in the previous year. For H1 FY26, revenue stood at ₹21,705 crore, reflecting a 5% year-on-year increase.

Fujiyama Power Systems: Shares of rooftop solar solutions provider made a weak debut on the stock exchanges.

The stock listed at ₹220 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), reflecting a discount of 3.51% against the IPO issue price of ₹228 a unit.

On the BSE, it started trading at ₹218.40, down 4.1% from the issue price.

Reliance Power: Shares of Anil Ambani-backed company rose as much as 4.55% to hit an intraday high of ₹41.75 after its board of directors approved the formation of the Board of Management (BOM) to strengthen governance and strategic business oversight.

The BOM will comprise the CEO, key managerial personnel, and senior business leaders of the company, the electric power generation said in a regulatory filing.
