Motilal Oswal Financial Q3 earnings: Shares of Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) jumped as much as 10.47% to hit the day's high of ₹808.80 apiece on the NSE intraday on Wednesday, January 28, following the company's December quarter (Q3 FY26) result announcement.

The company on Tuesday reported a 58% surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹721 crore for the December quarter of 2025, driven by robust growth in its assets and private wealth management business.

It had posted a net profit of ₹456 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's operating profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹611 crore, marking a rise of 16% on a year-on-year basis and a 10% growth sequentially.

Its total net revenue rose 11.3% to ₹1,497 crore, Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) said in a regulatory filing.

In the asset management segment, its PAT increased by 65% year-on-year to ₹227 crore.

Its total assets under management (AUM) climbed 33% to ₹1.89 lakh crore.

Mutual Fund SIP inflows surged 55% to ₹4,515 crore, giving it a 5% market share, the company said.

The private wealth management division reported a PAT of ₹82 crore, with net flows standing at ₹4,314 crore.

The wealth management business posted a profit of ₹181 crore, with brokerage income rising 15% quarter-on-quarter.

The capital markets business recorded a 15% increase in profit to ₹70 crore, maintaining its top ranking across IPOs and qualified institutional placements (QIP) during the year, while the housing finance arm posted a 12% rise in profit to ₹42 crore, and AUM grew 24% to ₹5,379 crore, it added.

Its treasury investments stood at ₹9,562 crore, up 16% year-on-year, generating a strong internal rate of return of 18.5% since inception.

The company's board has also declared an interim dividend of ₹6 per share.

MOFSL's net worth stood at ₹13,632 crore as of December 31, 2025.

Interim dividend announced: Check details

MOFSL has declared an interim dividend on the equity shares of the company for the financial year 2025-26 at the rate of ₹6 per equity share of the face value of ₹1 each, out of the profits of the company.

The Board has fixed the record date as Saturday, January 31, 2026, for the same, and the said interim dividend will be paid to the equity shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members/Beneficial Owners of the Company/Depositories as of January 31, 2026.

The said interim dividend would be paid to all equity shareholders of the company on or before February 25, 2026.
