Its revenue from operations jumped 43.6% YoY to ₹973.45 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹678.09 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q1 FY26), supported by healthy sales performance across the entire product portfolio, reflecting broad-based growth, according to a regulatory filing.
The newly listed company recorded an EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) of ₹144.89 crore in the first quarter of FY27, marking a 74.5% YoY increase from ₹83.02 crore in the year-ago period.
Its EBITDA margin expanded by 264 basis points (bps) YoY to 14.88% for the reporting quarter, from 12.24% in Q1 FY26.
The company said that its summer portfolio, comprising ice creams, curd and yogurt categories, recorded strong YoY growth due to an extended summer season, particularly across Southern India.
Paneer remained its largest contributor, with its revenue rising 34% YoY, while the cheese and curd categories continued to deliver healthy growth, with revenue growth of 38% and 27% YoY, respectively.
“The company further strengthened growth through continued process and product innovation, new product variants and deeper market penetration, enabling expansion across existing as well as new geographies,” Milky Mist said.
Its gross profit expansion was primarily driven by higher volume growth, improved product mix and pricing ability. Furthermore, its operational efficiencies primarily contributed to EBITDA growth and EBITDA margin expansion.
In Q1 FY27, the firm commissioned a new Cheddar Cheese Plant with an installed capacity of 120 million tonnes (MT) per day.
