M&M Financial Services shares decline after reporting 1% rise in disbursals in Q4

The standalone and consolidated net worth of MMFSL as of March 31, 2024, was ₹18,157 crore and ₹19,933 crore, respectively.

The company informed exchanges that its loan disbursals in March quarter came in at ₹15,480 crore, up 1% annually and for the financial year 2024-25, M&M Financials' disbursement advanced 3% to ₹57,850 crore.

The company had business assets at around ₹1,19,300 crore, which rose by 16% annually.

The company had comfortable liquidity situation on its balance sheet with liquidity chest of ₹10,000 crore, M&M Financial Services said.

"The Collection Efficiency (CE) is estimated at 97% for Q4 FY25 (In Q4 FY24, CE was 98%) and for F25, CE is estimated at 95% (In FY24, CE was at 96%). As at March 31, 2025, Stage-3 is estimated at about 3.7% (vs. 3.4% as of March 31, 2024) and Stage-2 is estimated at around 5.5% (vs. 5.0% as of March 31, 2024)," M&M Financial Services said in an exchange filing.

M&M Financial Services net profit in December quarter rose 63% to ₹899 crore from ₹553 crore in the same period last year. Its interest income rose 17% to ₹3,957 crore from ₹3,373 crore in the year-ago period.

At the end of December quarter, promoters held 52.16% stake in the company while 47.79% stake was held by public shareholders. Among the public shareholders, mutual funds own 17.47% stake, insurance companies had 3.44% stake and foreign portfolio investors had 10.48% stake in the company.

While, its parent Mahindra & Mahindra had 52.16% stake in Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services.

As of 9:31 am, M&M Financial Services shares traded 1.43% lower at ₹264.80, underperforming the BSE200 index which was down 0.2%.
