Mahindra & Mahindra Financial dividend: NBFC announces ₹7.5/share dividend; check record date

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services’ board of directors on Friday, April 24, announced that the company has recommended a dividend of ₹7.5 per share for the fiscal year ended 2025-26 with a face value of ₹2 apiece for stock market investors, according to an exchange filing.

“Recommendation of dividend of ₹7.50 per equity share of face value of ₹2 each (i.e. 375%) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026,” the company informed the stock exchanges.

As per the filings, all eligible shareholders will receive a dividend payment of ₹7.5 per share for every share they own in Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services stock, up to 24 hours ahead of the pre-determined ‘record date’ of the corporate action.

NSE filings also showed that the ‘record date’ for the dividend issue is fixed to be on Monday, July 13, 2026, to determine the eligibility of shareholders. The necessary approvals for the dividend issue are set to be approved on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and the payment is to be made after Tuesday.

M&M Financial Q4 results

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services’ standalone financial statements showed that the company has recorded a 55% rise in its net profit to ₹873 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year ended 2025-26, compared to ₹563 crore in the same period a year ago.

According to the consolidated financial statements, the company's interest income rose by 11% YoY to ₹4,462 crore in the fourth quarter, compared to ₹4,017 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

The company’s total revenue from core operations increased 12.4% year-on-year to ₹4,767 crore in the March quarter, compared to ₹4,240 crore in the same period a year ago, as per the NSE filing.

M&M Financial’s earnings per share (EPS) increased to ₹6.28 apiece in the fourth quarter, compared to ₹4.43 per share in the same period a year ago, according to the financial statements.

M&M Financial shares closed 0.89% lower at ₹294.40 after Friday’s trading session, compared to ₹297.05 at the previous market close, according to NSE data. The company announced its dividend issue and Q4 results for the financial year ended 2025-26 after the market operating hours on April 24.

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services have given investors more than 70% returns on their investment in the last five years, and over 19% returns in three years and over 13% returns in the past one-year period, NSE data showed.

On a year-to-date basis, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services shares have dropped 26% so far in 2026, and have lost over 3% in the past one month. The company’s stock was trading 1.29% lower over the last five market sessions on the Indian stock market.

The company’s market capitalisation (M-Cap) was at ₹41,073.65 crore after the stock market closed on Friday, April 24, 2026.
