The rise in the surge price comes after the company provided an update for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, reporting modest growth in disbursements and maintaining a strong liquidity position, in its exchange filing.

For Q2 FY26, the company’s overall disbursements are estimated at about ₹13,500 crore, representing a year-on-year increase of 3% over the same quarter last year. On a half-year basis, H1 FY26 disbursements are estimated at approximately ₹26,300 crore, a 2% rise year-on-year; this H1 figure is stated excluding finance lease.

The firm’s Business Assets were around ₹1,26,800 crore as of the latest quarter, marking roughly a 13% increase compared with September 2024.

Collection performance remained steady. The Collection Efficiency for Q2 FY26 is estimated at 96%, unchanged from Q2 FY25, according to the update.

On asset quality, the company estimated Stage-3 loans at 3.9% to 4.0% as at September 30, 2025, versus 3.8% at both June 30, 2025 and September 30, 2024. Stage-2 loans were estimated in the range of 5.75–5.85% as at September 30, 2025, compared with 5.9% on June 30, 2025 and 6.4% on September 30, 2024.

The update also noted the company’s liquidity position. Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services continued to hold a comfortable liquidity buffer, with a liquidity chest of over ₹8,500 crore on its balance sheet.

Over the last five trading sessions, M&M Financials shares declined 1.11%. On the other hand, the stock rose 5.89% in the last month. Further, the scrip zoomed 6.57% over the past six months. The stock advanced 6.37% on a year-to-date basis.

The stock touched its 52-week high of ₹330 on October 1, 2024, and its 52-week low of ₹231.02 on April 7, 2025. The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹38,126.91 crore as recorded on October 3.
