M&M Financial Services net profit rises 3%, interest income advances 15%

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services on Tuesday, July 22, reported net profit of ₹530 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year, marking an increase of 3% from ₹513 crore in the same period last year.

M&M Financial Services interest income advanced 15% to ₹4,165 crore from ₹3,612 crore in the year-ago period. Its total revenue from operations came in at ₹4,419 crore, up 19% from ₹3,722 crore.

M&M Financial Services shares rose as much as 3% from intraday low to hit an intraday high of ₹267.35 following earnings announcement.

The company informed exchanges that Ketaki Suklikar has been appointed as the Chief Legal Officer and SMP of the Company effective 1st November 2025. She will replace Farida Balsara, present Chief Legal Officer of the Company, who will transition back to Mahindra & Mahindra Limited.

Suklikar is a legal professional with over 20 years of experience across law-firm and in-house roles. Ketaki is currently the legal head of mergers & acquisitions at Mahindra Group (since 2023), overseeing legal and regulatory aspects of strategic M&A transactions across the group.

Prior to this, she served as General Counsel at Mayfield India, managing fund legal, compliance, and governance matters. She began her career as a corporate lawyer at Wadia Ghandy & Co. Ms. Suklikar holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from King' College, London, and an LLB from ILS Law College, Pune.

As of 2:57 pm, M&M Financial Services shares traded 0.23% higher at ₹263.55, outperforming the BSE 200 index which was down 0.21%.
