Shares of Lloyds Enterprises jumped over 4% to hit its 52-week high of ₹96.40 apiece on the National Stock Exchange after the company acquired a 50% stake in Prakar Estates and Promoters on Friday, July 4.

The company, in a regulatory note, informed that it has invested ₹140 crore and acquired a stake in mining firm Prakar Estates.

Lloyds Enterprises plans to complete the acquisition by July 15, 2025.

It further said that the capital contribution of Prakar Estates is ₹318.95 crore and its revenue as of March 31, 2025, is nil.

Last seen, shares of the firm were trading at ₹95.13 apiece on NSE, rising 2.95%.

In June this year, Lloyds Enterprises had also increased its investment in Lloyds Engineering Works Limited (formerly known as Lloyds Steels Industries Limited) by acquiring an additional 3.72 crore partly paid-up equity shares through a rights issue.

Lloyd Enterprises for Q4 FY25 had reported a 46.2% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹24.55 crore as against ₹45.65 crore in the same quarter last fiscal year.

Its revenue from operations grew 46.63% to ₹489.32 crore during the quarter. Profit before tax (PBT) slipped 29.19% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹41.85 crore in Q4 FY25.

The company’s total expenses climbed 49.94% to ₹484.81 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared with ₹323.33 crore in Q4 FY24. Cost of material consumed stood at Rs 110.61 crore (up 110.13% YoY).

Lloyd Enterprises is a member of the Lloyds Group; the company is engaged in business activities of trading in iron & steel products and investments.

Over the last five trading days, shares of Lloyd Enterprises have jumped nearly 3%. For a month’s period, the stock has soared 39.6%.

Since January 6, 2025, which is six months, the stock has surged 70%. Year-to-date, it has increased 87.6%.

The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹11,983.43 crore.
