Laurus Labs shares hit new record high; here is why

Shares of Laurus Labs jumped to a new record high level at ₹901 apiece on the NSE after the Andhra Pradesh Government allotted 531 acres of land in Anakapalli.

Laurus Labs has received 531.77 acres of land in IP Rambilli Phase-II of Anakapalli from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the establishment of Laurus Pharma Zone (LPZ) for the setting up of manufacturing units for Pharma products.

The company has projected ₹5,630 crore of investment and plans to employ 6,350 people in three phases over a period of eight years. With this allotment, the company has secured an important component for future expansion of its business, i.e., land parcel.

In the latest quarter, the sales for the June 2025 quarter moved up 28.28% to ₹1432.7 crore as compared to ₹1116.9 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.Net Profit witnessed a 448.78% growth, almost double from ₹28.7 crore to ₹157.9 crore of the same quarter last year. Operating profit surged to ₹348.8 crore from the corresponding previous quarter of ₹170.6 crore.
