The company said in a July 30 filing to the stock exchanges that the collaboration aims to introduce cutting-edge simulation technology to enhance the safety of railroads and neighbouring regions.
L&T Technology Services informed bourses that the two companies have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly focus on the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI-based simulation technologies for railroad safety. This partnership is set to significantly enhance the operational efficiency and safety of rail infrastructure in India and neighbouring regions.
By leveraging PST’s expertise in railroad crew training and LTTS’ capabilities in digital engineering, the collaboration seeks to bring transformative advancements to the rail industry.
The collaboration between PS Technology (PST) and L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) is set to revolutionise the rail industry by enhancing safety and providing real-time insights for modern transportation.
Under the partnership, the companies have established a new centre dedicated to advanced rail simulation. This centre will focus on data in real-time to improve decision-making and operational efficiency, proactive decision-making, resource management, and crew training and management through immersive simulations.
LTTS and PST have established their first Customer Experience and R&D Center (CXC) in Faridabad, Haryana.
The centre will leverage AI and augmented reality technologies to elevate rail transportation standards, making it safer, more secure, and faster. By integrating these technologies, the partnership aims to set new benchmarks in rail simulation, training, and crew management, ultimately contributing to more efficient and reliable rail operations.
Earlier in a month, LTT also informed the bourses about a strategic partnership with SymphonyAI, renowned for its predictive and generative AI SaaS products. This collaboration aims to revolutionise enterprise operations globally through advanced AI solutions.
The partnership will leverage SymphonyAI's Apex Service Management platform and Apex Enterprise Copilot to enhance IT and enterprise service management. These AI-driven solutions are designed to boost productivity, simplify workflows, and deliver exceptional experiences for end users, analysts, and executives.
L&T Technology Services shares closed at 0.14% higher at ₹5,208 apiece on the NSE.
