Hyderabad-based infrastructure firm, KNR Constructions' share price jumped more than 12% during the intraday trading session on Monday, March 30, 2026, after the company over the weekend secured a ₹1,734 crore order from the National Highway Authority of India, according to an exchange filing.
KNR Constructions shares surged 12.66% to hit their intraday high of ₹123.50 on Monday, compared to ₹109.62 at the previous stock market close, according to NSE data. As of 11:34 pm, the company’s stock was trading 9.22% higher at ₹119.85, compared to the previous market close.
National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded KNR Constructions an order to build a four-lane highway extension of the NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar of the Hyderabad Panaji section under a Hybrid annuity mode in the state of Telangana.
The 80.01-kilometre highway order bid was for ₹1,734 crore and is set to be executed for a construction period of 730 days and an operation period of 15 years from COD.
“We herewith intimate to the exchanges that the company is in receipt of a Letter of Award from the National Highways Authority of India on March 27, 2026, at 04.48PM for construction of 4-laning of NH-167 from Gudebellur at Design Km. 182+930 to Mahabubnagar at Design Km 262+940 of Hyderabad – Panaji Section,” said the company.
Earlier this month, the company bagged an ₹83.64 crore widening and strengthening of pipeline road order on March 26, and a ₹50.47 crore 4-lane unidirectional flyover order for the state of Telangana.
In an exchange filing on February 5, KNR Constructions recorded a 59% fall in its consolidated net profits to ₹101.79 crore in the October to December quarter of the financial year ending 2025-26, compared to ₹250.56 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s revenue from core operations dropped 12% to ₹743.19 crore in the third quarter, compared year-on-year (YoY) with ₹848 crore in the same period a year ago, as per the filing data.
The consolidated statements also showed that the earnings per share of the company dropped to 3.66 in the third quarter, compared to 8.84 in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
NSE data showed that KNR Constructions shares have lost 42% in five years and over 52% in the last three years. The company’s stock is down 48% over the last one year period.
On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, KNR Constructions' stock has lost 26.84% and is down 10.95% in the last one-month period. However, the company's shares are trading 3.62% higher in the last five market sessions.
Shares of KNR Constructions hit their 52-week high level at ₹247.80 on April 24, 2025, while the 52-week low was at ₹108.65 last week on Friday, March 27, 2026, according to the exchange data. The company’s market capitalisation was at ₹3,356.25 crore as of the trading session on Monday, March 30.
